WORLD WIDE WELCOME to ALL EX AA & EX NA PEOPLE

 ABOUT THE ANTI-AA CONFERENCE CALL

All meeting topics are suggested and facilitators may change or improvise anything as needed. Non-AA supporters are welcome to suggest topics or future readings to be shared by e-mailing AntiAAConferenceCall@aol.com(Spam Will Be Reported; AA Trolls Will Be Blocked)

The Anti-AA Conference Call’s purpose is to reach out to individuals leaving 12 step groups such as AA or NA allowing us to support, encourage and share important information with one another. Our intention is to share positively with one another and not to indulge in needless negativity.

Having stated this, we may at times have the need to share information regarding our perspective on AA, NA and other 12 Step based programs which supporters of those programs will not agree with. This is why supporters of those programs are never welcomed on this call and asked to please call into pro-AA conference calls as available. The Anti-AA Conference Calls are not in place to debate or argue with pro-AA about any topic whatsoever.

To make our meeting place a safe place for everyone, we ask that participants refrain from any offensive language, name-calling or anything that could be taken as sexual harassment or harassment of any kind.

Please exercise mutual respect and tolerance on the phone line. Anything you hear during the may be considered that person's opinion.

At the beginning of each call, a selected reader will read information from various sources that relate to The Anti-AA Conference Call’s overall purpose. It is requested that all callers MUTE their phones by pressing *6 during this reading which will take no more that 10 minutes of call time.

The remainder of the call will be utilized for each caller to have an opportunity to introduce him or herself and spend up to 3 minutes discussing the information shared or any topic related to The Anti-AA Conference Call’s purpose. Other callers are asked to listen quietly during each person’s intro/talk.

After each caller has had an opportunity to introduce herself of himself the call is open for open discussion for the remainder of the call time. The call facilitator will let everyone know when there is 5 minutes remaining in order to close the call. Every call is to end within 1 hour. Callers are welcome to remain on the line after the call is officially closed to speak further or exchange contact info as and if they choose. This may not be advisable, however, because this line is not secure from outsiders at this time who against our invitations to leave our call, may yet be lurking.

Anti-AA Conference Callers wishing to share are encouraged to communicate with one another via the Anti-AA Conference Call Chat Room.

We are an open forum seeking to share diverse information, news and research on resources for real alcohol and substance management, recovery, moderation and/or abstinence. We take no stance on which of these options is best for any individual. We support each person’s personal power and right to choose.

Please Note: The “Call in” number is not toll free. If your long distance service charges by the minute, you will be charged accordingly. Someone is usually on the line 5 minutes before the meeting and throughout the hour.

All Anti-AA's Are Welcome to Join the Chat Room Above!

Tradition 10 - Alcoholics Anonymous has no opinion on outside issues; hence the AA name ought never be drawn into public controversy." Please follow orders from the Interchurch Center if you are an AA member and don't comment.
